This transparent cut glass globe caught our eye at a Lisbon car boot sale. Its deep, open diamond facets, cut with remarkable precision, reflect the glassmaking expertise of the 1960s and 70s — a time when cut glass adorned the finest interiors, from grand hotels to bourgeois apartments.
Back in our Lisbon workshop, we mounted it onto a simple gold brass socket, clean and elegant. And so Marie was born — a hand lamp with a strong personality, that knows how to stand out without overdoing it.
The Marie hand lamp can be gently placed on a bedside table or hung from the ceiling as a small suspension, thanks to its 90 cm cord. When lit, its diamond facets project subtle reflections onto surrounding walls — a unique lighting effect that cannot be replicated. Need a different length? 9 options are available on request.

Technical information
Place the Marie vintage hand lamp on any flat surface and plug the textile cable into a standard socket. The cable is 1.8 m long by default and can be customised in length and colour to match your interior.
The Marie vintage hand lamp is compatible with E27 LED bulbs (included). We recommend a warm white bulb (2,700–3,000 K) for an intimate, cosy ambiance.

This lamp pairs a transparent cut-glass globe with lozenge facets with a brushed brass fitting. Entirely handmade in Lisbon from artisan glass and solid brushed brass.
Wipe the glass with a slightly damp cloth. Polish the brushed brass base or fitting with a soft dry cloth — avoid abrasive or chemical products that could alter its patina.
