Thank you for taking a few minutes to read our General Terms and Conditions of Sale and Use (“Terms”) of the website www.alfamachic.com (“Site”), published by ALFAMA CHIC.
These Terms contain important information for you as a user of our Site and a purchaser of our products, and apply to all products used or purchased on our Site.

1. The use of this Site, of any related subdomain and of all related services, products, offers, deliveries and services is expressly subject to your acceptance of these Terms. By using our Site, purchasing products or making use of any of our services, the customer (“customer” or “you”) automatically accepts and complies with these Terms, without reservation or exception, including any future amendments announced by publication on our Site or notified in any other way.
2. ALFAMA CHIC reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time and without prior notice. The amended Terms shall apply as soon as they are made available on the Site, without any further formality being required. The customer shall be deemed to have accepted the new Terms. For this reason, customers are invited to consult the Terms regularly.
3. If you do not approve of or agree with these Terms, you may not use or access our Site, use our services or purchase our products. No inconsistency in the interpretation of these Terms may be held against ALFAMA CHIC.
1. All content published on the Site (including logos, trademarks, copyrights, etc.) is the exclusive intellectual property of ALFAMA CHIC and may not be distributed, modified or used in any way without the express authorisation of ALFAMA CHIC. Any reproduction, distribution, commercialisation or transformation of the content that has not been expressly authorised by its owners constitutes an infringement of the intellectual and industrial property rights protected by law. ALFAMA CHIC may bring any relevant administrative, civil or criminal action in the event of an infringement of these rights by the customer.
2. Access to and use of the Site and the services, including the creation of a personal account by the customer, does not entail any transfer of ownership of any kind.
1. On the Site, the customer can purchase products from ALFAMA CHIC. The customer can access on the Site a description of the essential characteristics of the products and the concept behind their design.
2. On the Site, the customer can: (i) browse and order ALFAMA CHIC products and view their composition/description; (ii) create, access, update or delete information in their personal account; and (iii) track their orders and manage their orders under the subscription ordering option for ALFAMA CHIC products.
3. These services are available only in French, Portuguese, English and Spanish.

By using the Site and accepting these Terms, you declare that you are of legal age in your country of residence and that the purchase and use of our products or services are lawful in your place of residence or in the destination of the product. It is the customer’s sole responsibility to ensure compliance with the law, and ALFAMA CHIC bears no responsibility in this respect.
2. ALFAMA CHIC ensures that all content and services offered on the Site respect the principle of human dignity, the principle of non-discrimination on the grounds of race, sex, religion, opinions, nationality, disability or any other personal or social characteristic, as well as the principle of the protection of young people and children.
3. The customer undertakes to make proper use of the content and services of the Site, which may never be used for unlawful activities or activities contrary to public order, national defence or public health. Any use of the content and services by the customer must respect the principles set out in the previous paragraph.
4. The customer is expressly authorised to view all information contained on the Site and to make private copies of it on their own systems, provided that such content is intended for their exclusive use and is not subsequently passed on to third parties.
1. All information on the Site and in any other written document issued by ALFAMA CHIC has been prepared with care and diligence. However, ALFAMA CHIC cannot guarantee that all information is correct, complete and/or up to date. ALFAMA CHIC reserves the right to modify any information on the Site or in any other written document without notice. It is your responsibility to check all information in the event of any change.
2. ALFAMA CHIC reserves the right, at any time and without accepting any liability towards the customer or third parties, to modify the products and services offered and to withdraw products and services from its catalogue.
3. ALFAMA CHIC may occasionally offer discounts on products and services on the Site. We reserve the right to modify, restrict or withdraw any offer at our sole discretion.
4. We reserve the right, at any time and without justification, to restrict or entirely discontinue the sale of products or the provision of services to an individual customer, to any other person, or in certain specific countries or regions.
5. Any decision you make regarding the use of our products and services based on the information provided by ALFAMA CHIC on the Site is your personal responsibility and is made at your own risk.
6. We cannot guarantee that our Site and services will be error-free or provided without interruption. ALFAMA CHIC regularly carries out maintenance or development work on its Site to keep it up to date and working properly. In the course of such developments and updates, ALFAMA CHIC reserves the right to remove features and/or options. ALFAMA CHIC shall in no event be liable for any difficulty in accessing or using the services resulting from updates and developments. In the event of loss of service or disruption, you may contact ALFAMA CHIC to try to find a workable solution.
1. Access to the Site is open and free of charge. To place an order on the Site, the customer must create a personal account. During the registration process, a username is automatically generated for the customer from their name or email address, and a link is sent to the new user to set their password. ALFAMA CHIC is not responsible for any misuse of registration information and considers that the person using the Site is the registered customer.
2. Order tracking is handled by SMS and email, but may also be handled by email and phone. Order management is handled from the customer’s account and may also be handled by email and/or phone.
3. To create an account, the customer must provide the following mandatory information: (i) surname and first name; (ii) email address; (iii) phone number; (iv) date of birth; (v) delivery address; (vi) billing address.
4. ALFAMA CHIC and its staff will never ask the customer for their password. If you believe your registration details have fallen into the wrong hands, you must inform ALFAMA CHIC without delay by phone on +351 913 812 341 or by email at hello@alfamachic.com.
5. The customer must ensure that the information relating to their account is correct and up to date. The customer acknowledges that providing any information that is incorrect, incomplete, false or not compliant with legal or regulatory requirements may render them liable towards third parties and towards ALFAMA CHIC if such information causes them harm.
6. ALFAMA CHIC reserves the right to delete, without prior formal notice, any personal account that does not comply with these Terms and, in particular, that contains false, inaccurate or incomplete information.
7. The customer may request the deletion of their account at any time by contacting ALFAMA CHIC by email at hello@alfamachic.com. The request will then be processed as soon as possible.
8. All customers’ personal data is processed and protected by ALFAMA CHIC as described in our Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms. For more information, please read our data protection information.
1. To order our products, the customer must be at least eighteen years old, have full legal capacity or hold parental authorisation allowing them to place an order.
2. All orders are subject to acceptance and availability. The mere presentation of products on the Site cannot be interpreted as a guarantee that ALFAMA CHIC will enter into a sales contract. As products are not necessarily always available in stock, a sales contract cannot be concluded immediately after an order is submitted by the customer.
3. Although we do our utmost to ensure the accuracy of all information and specifications on our Site or in other written documents, errors and omissions may still occur. We reserve the right to correct whatever we deem necessary and to update and cancel any order that may be affected by such corrections.
4. Upon submission of the order by the customer, the terms of the order are binding on ALFAMA CHIC for a period of seven (7) working days.
5. The mere submission of an order by the customer to ALFAMA CHIC does not constitute a contract. ALFAMA CHIC has five (5) days to confirm the order. You acknowledge that any automatic acknowledgement of receipt of your order that you may receive from us does not amount to our acceptance of your order. A contract between you and ALFAMA CHIC shall be formed when (i) payment for the product and service has been debited to ALFAMA CHIC in the agreed manner; and (ii) we dispatch the products to you.
6. Any change to an order requested by the customer after it has been placed must be confirmed by ALFAMA CHIC and is subject to ALFAMA CHIC’s acceptance. A change to an order before dispatch may be requested by contacting customer service, but cannot be guaranteed.
7. ALFAMA CHIC reserves the right to reject an order in whole or in part without giving reasons.
8. In the event of cancellation, restriction or suspension of an order, ALFAMA CHIC will inform you by email and you will have the option of waiting until the item is back in stock or cancelling your order.
9. Once the order has been placed, the customer always retains the statutory right of withdrawal, in accordance with applicable consumer protection legislation.
1. All prices stated by ALFAMA CHIC on the Site and in other written documents issued by ALFAMA CHIC include VAT at the applicable statutory rate. All orders are payable in euros. All costs included in the price are clearly specified. Additional costs may arise, which will be indicated separately and must be paid by the customer.
2. ALFAMA CHIC reserves the right to change its prices at any time without notice.
3. The customer is responsible for any customs payments and duties, where applicable. ALFAMA CHIC has no influence over these additional costs and cannot make any statement as to their amount. For more information, please contact the customs authorities in the destination country.
4. The purchase price must be paid immediately by the customer, and the sales contract is concluded upon verification that payment has been successfully received. Until the full purchase price has been received by ALFAMA CHIC, the products will not be dispatched or delivered to the customer. In the event of late payment, and in the absence of any extension communicated by ALFAMA CHIC, ALFAMA CHIC may cancel the order.
5. The accepted payment methods are specified on the Site. We reserve the right to change these payment methods at any time, at our discretion.
6. As far as possible, we take all reasonable precautions to ensure the security of your order and payment data. In the absence of negligence on our part, we cannot be held liable for any loss you may suffer if a third party gains unauthorised access to any data provided by you when accessing the Site or placing an order on it. The customer confirms that the credit or debit account used belongs to them. All credit/debit card holders and other payment methods accepted on the Site are subject to validation and authorisation checks by the payment provider. If your card issuer or the provider of your alternative payment method refuses or does not authorise us, for whatever reason, to collect the sums due, we cannot be held liable for any delay in delivery or non-delivery.
7. Products sold on the Site are not intended for resale or distribution. We reserve the right to cancel orders and/or suspend accounts if we consider that products are being ordered in breach of this provision.
1. Products will be delivered to the delivery address you provided at the time of purchase within 5 to 20 working days, when the product is available. Delivery times vary depending on the destination country. Please refer to the Site for more information. All delivery terms are legally non-binding and failure to meet them does not entitle you to terminate the contract.
2. Upon delivery, the customer undertakes to check the condition and conformity of the packaging of the product(s) ordered, as well as the conformity of the product(s) ordered with the invoice.
3. If ALFAMA CHIC is late in delivering your order, you must first wait a minimum of 30 days, during which we may still perform the contract, before you can cancel it. In the event of cancellation of the contract, ALFAMA CHIC will not refund more than the purchase price. Any obligation to grant higher compensation for late or failed delivery is excluded.
4. The customer must accept a partial delivery if, for example, some of the products purchased are not available or can only be delivered at a later date.
5. Benefit and risk pass to the customer when the products are dispatched. ALFAMA CHIC shall not be liable for the loss of or damage to the products during transport.
6. The customer expressly declares and acknowledges that they are a resident of one of the countries to which ALFAMA CHIC offers delivery of its products. The customer shall not place an order on behalf of a third party. The customer shall not make the products available in any form on the markets of countries to which delivery is not available.
7. We accept no liability if you provide an incorrect delivery address or fail to collect the products at the delivery address you provided.
1. The legal guarantee on ALFAMA CHIC products is 3 years.
2. Once you have received the products, you must inspect them and inform ALFAMA CHIC of any defect within 7 days; otherwise, the products will be deemed approved. The customer must notify any reservations by contacting customer service.
3. Defective products must be returned to ALFAMA CHIC for inspection at the address given on the website, together with the order number, a copy of the invoice and a description of the problem. Shipping costs to our address are at your expense, unless we or the carrier are responsible for the return or exchange. An exchange or refund will only be made after we have checked the condition of the product.
4. The customer may choose between a refund or replacement of the item, unless the item is no longer available or this choice would entail a manifestly disproportionate cost compared with the other option, taking into account the value of the item or the significance of the defect. ALFAMA CHIC shall then be required, unless impossible, to proceed in accordance with the option chosen by the customer.
5. An order may only be cancelled if payment has not yet been made and the order has not yet been processed.
1. In accordance with European Directive 2011/83/EU of 25 October 2011 on consumer rights, the customer has a statutory period of fourteen days from receipt of the ordered product(s) to exercise the right of withdrawal, without having to give any reason. As a commercial gesture, ALFAMA CHIC extends this period to thirty (30) days from receipt, including for personalised products.
2. The right of withdrawal must be notified by email using the withdrawal form, which you can access here.
3. The customer must return the product(s) no later than fourteen days after the date on which they communicated their decision to withdraw. The withdrawal period runs from the date on which the customer (or a third party designated by them, other than the carrier) took possession of the product(s). If this period expires on a Saturday, Sunday or public holiday, it is extended to the next working day.
4. ALFAMA CHIC undertakes to refund the customer all payments received for the product(s) subject to withdrawal (excluding delivery costs, additional costs arising from the choice of a delivery method more expensive than the standard method offered, and any taxes and customs duties paid by the customer) without undue delay and no later than fourteen days after the customer has notified their withdrawal.
5. The refund is made using the same payment method as the one used for the initial transaction. ALFAMA CHIC may withhold the refund until the products have been received back or until proof of their return has been supplied, whichever is the later.
6. Return shipping costs are borne by the customer.
7. The product must be returned unused and carefully packed. The customer is liable only for any loss in value of the product resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and functioning.
1. To the fullest extent permitted by law, all liability of ALFAMA CHIC is excluded for any loss or other damage suffered by the customer on the basis of or in connection with the conclusion of a contract for the purchase, delivery or use of ALFAMA CHIC’s products and services.
2. The customer accepts that the use of the products and services offered by ALFAMA CHIC is at their own risk.
3. The customer may not make a claim if the defect was caused by misuse or an accident attributable to them, or if they were aware of the defect before purchasing and accepting the product.
4. Delays, improper performance or total or partial non-performance of orders resulting from force majeure, including but not limited to fire, flood, strikes, regulations or requirements of public authorities, or any other unavoidable and unforeseeable event beyond ALFAMA CHIC’s control, shall not give rise to compensation. However, the provisions of this article shall in no event release either party from the obligation to pay the other any sum due.

1. The contractual relationship between ALFAMA CHIC and the customer under these Terms is governed by Portuguese substantive law, unless the rules of the law of the customer’s country of residence, with regard to the specific application of a provision, are more favourable or are mandatory under the law of the customer’s country of residence.
2. Any judicial or arbitral proceedings arising from or in connection with the contractual relationship between ALFAMA CHIC and the customer under these Terms may, if brought by the customer, be submitted to the Portuguese courts or to the courts of the customer’s country of residence. If proceedings are brought by ALFAMA CHIC, they shall be submitted to the court of the customer’s country of residence.
