ALFAMA CHIC does not collect or obtain from its customers personal data of a sensitive nature, or included in a special category of personal data, unless they have been provided voluntarily and explicitly. The special categories of personal data concern information relating to race or ethnic origin; political opinions; religious, philosophical or similar beliefs; trade union membership; genetic data; biometric data for the sole purpose of identifying a natural person; data concerning health; sex life or sexual orientation.

Account
You can only place orders if you have a customer account. When you create an account or make a purchase on our Site, as part of the buying and selling process, we collect the following personal information that you provide to us:

Your account information is hash-protected. This method transforms the information into a generated hash. In this way, sensitive information is secure, and even invisible to us. What’s more, our database is exceptionally secure against unauthorized access. For example, access to the database is only possible and authorized by authorized IP addresses. Other address attempts are refused every time.
In addition, the information has been anonymized as far as possible. As a result, the information
cannot be directly linked to a specific customer. Thanks to this information, we can carry out market research and analysis. Visit
outsourced services (e.g. messaging service) are analyzed before we start a collaboration, are RGPD compliant and must sign an agreement. Within ALFAMA CHIC, employees have different access authorizations. The specific authorization only gives access to information strictly necessary for carrying out a test.
Digital security measures are likely to evolve, and need to reach high standards to ensure the safety of online customers. As a result, we have a security officer responsible for periodically checking and improving security measures (where necessary).
8. Privacy Policy Update
We reserve the right to modify this Privacy Policy at any time, so please check back frequently. Modifications and clarifications will take effect as soon as they are published on the Site. Web analysis service ( anonymization function)
On the Site, we have integrated the component of a web analysis service (with an anonymization function). Marketing department
ALFAMA CHIC uses a company specialized in marketing and communication activities. Their access to your information is very limited, and usually anonymous.
Payment service
We use external payment services to carry out transactions (e.g. credit card payments).
10. Data breach notification
Under the RGPD, ALFAMA CHIC will report personal data breaches to the competent supervisory authority (in ALFAMA CHIC’s case to the CNPD – Portugal’s National Commission for Data Protection) within 72 hours of their occurrence. If this violation is considered to present a high risk to the rights and freedoms of customers and if this risk has not been mitigated, ALFAMA CHIC will inform the customers concerned of the violation.
